Since 2013 we’ve been sharing the joy and passion we pour into each of our pieces with the people who visit us, imparting painting classes that allows you to take home the piece you work with, as a souvenir of the experience, so you can remember us when you arrive home.

We firmly believe that the key to progress is solidarity inside the community, which is why in addition to keep a fair payment structure we help to boost employment in women, specially to single moms o women that provide economical support to their families, being that the reason why most of the people who work with us in the workshop are women.
Responsability
We extend the sense of responsibility that drives us to fulfill every order with punctuality and excellence to our responsibility to the environment, being that the reason why our products are made with wood from renewable forests, or made with recycled wood. In addition we use water based paint, tinctures and varnishes guaranteeing that our products are non toxic and don’t damage the atmosphere while being applied.

The Christ of La Palma wooden cross
A beautiful cross made in natural tone wood, representing the resurrected Christ, in contact with His Creation, in the same iconographic style used on the church in the middle of La Palma, making use of the symmetry of the drawing that makes the style unique.
Colorful Life wooden crosses
Wooden cross of live colors with a cheerful design, evocative of the colors that conform the day to day in La Palma. Its design displays nature figures in a symmetrical format with a white delineation to enhance the drawing itself.
Available in colors: Blue, purple and orange.
Mountain Life wooden leaf
Leaf-shaped wall decoration made of inked wood, displaying a cheerful design evocative of the of the elements that take part of the mountain life, like the sun, birds, and the village that interacts with nature without damaging it.

Divine Grace wooden cross
A wooden cross that represents the Christ over his Creation, in a style that derives from whats traditional for the zone, and using diffused colors and a line with more movement, captures in the piece the wind, the birds and the Ascension.
On top of that, in the cross material itself the use of non traditional materiales can be appreciated, like sand and the execution of a carving on the inner side.
Aztec Calendar
A representation of the famous calendar of the Aztec people, made and mounted by Salvadorian hands through the joining of small pieces of wood that make the design of the calendar itself. Each part of this beautiful ensemble is inked in different tones of terracota colors to heighten each individual part.

Live the iconography
Artesanías Paty puts a lot of effort in innovating and offering crafts, as well as quality services. That’s why from more than 5 years we offer a Experiential Program, in which short painting classes are imparted to customers who visit us may opt to paint their own pieces, and in that way living the experience of creating their own craft, making the customer and the piece bond in a deeper way. Artesanias Paty is the first and only workshop in La Palma providing this service.
Due to the duration of the class and the drying time of the pieces, it’s recommended that the customer takes the class as the first activity in the day when visiting La Palma, so when finished he or she can take other activities in the area and at the end of them come back for the piece.
